Star shaped Azaleas

I love the symmetry of flowers, particularly the simply 5 petal star symmetry of this azalea.

Red Azalea

I noticed the rich red colour of this azalea when I was out walking on the weekend. Azaleas and Rhododendrons are in the same plant family, Ericaceae.

 It must be Autumn - the Azaleas have started flowering.
