Flower of the Day - Pink Cordyline

These flowers are not that easy to photograph, each star shaped flower is only a few mm across, and the long stems make depth of field a bit tricky too.

Flower of the Week - Pink Cordylines

Cordylines are tropical plants, good for shady areas and grown for their colourful foliage. Although they grow well enough here in Sydney, they don't often flower in the cooler subtropical climate. However, this Autumn,  the warmer and wetter weather has resulted in some gorgeous Cordyline flowers in my garden. Look for more all this week on Flower of the Day.
