Stylidium graminifolium - Trigger Plant

This Australian native grassy plant grows only on the coast and alpine areas of Eastern Australia.  They are known as "trigger plants" because of the unique flower column, which is triggered by insect visitors, who are then coated in pollen. This is a very smart way of getting insects to spread the pollen around!
