Stylidium graminifolium - Trigger Plant
This Australian native grassy plant grows only on the coast and alpine areas of Eastern Australia. They are known as "trigger plants" because of the unique flower column, which is triggered by insect visitors, who are then coated in pollen. This is a very smart way of getting insects to spread the pollen around!

Blue Agapanthus - Agapanthus africanus
Agapanthus africanus or African Lily is a very popular garden plant. However it can sometimes spread to where it's not wanted, so the spent flowers needs to be trimmed regularly. Newer hybrid varieties that don't spread into bushland are now available, and these are a good option. It's a pretty spectacular flowering plant.
